The 7/8 Jamboree is taking place on Saturday NOT Thursday. Apologies for any confusion. The Jamboree will be taking place at Somers Middle School this SATURDAY 1/25/25. The girls play at 9:00am and 2:00pm.
New Building Proposal Open House TONIGHT! Come to Deer Park tonight between 5:00-7:00 p.m. to see our plans and proposal for a building to replace the old Quonset and office building. It will be casual and a good time to ask questions and participate in the process. This is an Open House style event with light refreshments and will be held in the gym. We hope to see you there!

There are two girls basketball games, and a jamboree at Somers happening this week. The first game is on Tuesday @ Helena Flats. The next is a home game on Thursday against Marion. The jamboree is on Thursday for 7/8 girls only. They play at 9:00am and 2:00pm @ Somers Middle School. Good luck ladies!

The Girls Basketball Schedule has been updated! If you would like a copy, here are instructions when using a computer, and a seperate set of instructions if you are using the mobile app. Access by computer by selecting EXPLORE - then select DOCUMENTS - then select SPORTS SCHEDULES. On the mobile app select the MENU tab in the bottom left - then select DOCUMENTS - the scroll down until you find SPORTS SCHEDULES.
There will be an optional 6-8 girls basketball open gym on Monday 1/20 from 4:00pm - 6:00pm. If you have the time available, feel free to stop by!

Hello all. Here is the link for crash zone registration. Get yours filled out for next week.
Students that have siblings in after school sports must be picked up when school lets out or go to Crash Zone. Many are currently roaming the school unsupervised. Students are not allowed to hang out in the gym or school during practice. You can register your students for Crash Zone with our online registration form or there will be a $20 drop in fee per family. Coaches are not responsible for anyone other than the players. Students who are in the school and not registered will be sent to Crash Zone and the family will be charged the $20 drop in fee. Crash Zone hours after school are from 3:45-5:30. Please make the appropriate arrangements for your children and remember that some practices end after Crash Zone is already closed.

Bake Sale! The 7th/8th grade girls basketball team will be hosting a bake sale during lunch this Wed-Fri. The money will go toward team sweatshirts. Bake sale prices will range from $.50-$3.00. Buy some treats and support our girls!
