Wrestling season is coming up! Please see the attached flyer for a wrestling team opportunity for students K-8. This program is run by one of our own Deer Park families!

Registration for the 2026-2027 school year will be opening in February. This year registration will be 100% online through Infinite Campus. If you don't have a parent portal account yet, please contact the office.

Thank you, Deer Park community for showing your support at last night's music concert! The hard work, your students put in both musically and artistically was well seen by all! The final tweaks to the girls basketball schedule are done, and attached to this post and on the sports schedules portion of the website is the schedule for the season. There will be a girls basketball parent meeting on Thursday 1/15/26 from 5:00pm-5:30pm! There we will discuss logistics and expectations of the season. Have a great week everyone!

The Winter Wonderland Concert is TOMORROW! K-3 students perform from 5:30pm-6:00pm and are asked to arrive by 5:10pm. 4-8 student perform from 6:30pm-7:00pm and are asked to arrive by 6:10pm. The concert dress is all black/dark colors. So excited to see you all there!

Deer Park school does not have a daily snack program. Please send your student prepared for the day. Primary students snack twice a day. Middle school students are allowed to snack in class throughout the day.

Friday January 9th there will be a Volleyball celebration in the gym for the volleyball girls. It will be from 6:30-9:00 p.m.

Girls basketball practice schedule this week: Monday, Tuesday, Friday: 3:30-5:00pm (5/6 grade) & 5-6:30pm (7/8 grade). Wednesday: 2:45-4:15pm (5/6 grade) & 4:15-6:00pm (7/8 grade). No practice on Thursday due to the Winter Wonderland concert.

Girls basketball is up and running! There will be practice this week except for Thursday. The full season schedule will be released shortly as we are waiting on confirmation of a couple games. Have a great week!

School will be delayed by 2 hours today, Friday December 19, 2025. There was a power outage so we will start at 10:20.

A massive thank you to the WILD CHILD FOOD TRUCK for providing over 200 sweets our students. Their food is amazing and Kelly and Patrick Lundie are just as awesome! If you see their truck in town, it is worth the stop!! Thank you folks!

Deer Park Families. I made a mistake. The decision to move the concert to tomorrow during the day was a rash and uneducated decision on my part (Mr. Bruce). I made this decison without first speaking with parents or staff. It is the first time in my 5 years as a music teacher that I have had to change a concert date due to weather. This is a learning experience for me, and it will not be a situation I will ever repeat.

With all of this said, we will be rescheduling the concert to a date and time AFTER WINTER BREAK. I want to ensure that parents can watch their amazing students perform! Apologies once again for making so many changes. We will announce a date and time for this concert after we have looked at the schedule for January.
