A letter was sent home Tuesday from the Department of Health advising of a case of Pertussis (whooping cough) in the Kindergarten class. The office was informed today of a second case. Please review the attached letter. Anyone with symptoms should not be at school until evaluated by a health care professional. Please call the office with any questions.

A quick reminder about the 6/7 tournament tomorrow. The girls will be playing at 11:30 at Stillwater, and will be dismissed at 10:30am. Attached is a copy of the bracket for this week, and there is one posted in "Sports Schedules" as well. There will also be an away game at Trinity tomorrow. 5/6 play at 4:00 and will be dismissed at 3:00. The 7/8 will play at 5:00. Good luck ladies!
We're excited for the opening of registration on 2/15. Email registrations will be accepted as of Saturday. You may also drop off registration in the office starting Tuesday morning. Early registrations will not be accepted. Please contact the office with any questions.

Registration is on a first come-first served so get your packets in early to reserve your spot for next year. Registration closes on April 8 at 4:00 p.m. Enrollment packets can be found on our website or you can call the office to request a paper copy.

There will be regular season practice tonight for girls basketball. 5/6 will practice from 3:30-5:00 and 7/8 will practice from 5:00-6:30. This evening, I will be posting information for the 7th grade tournament happening next week. Stay warm out there.

Hello Deer Park Families. This is just a reminder that smartwatches and cell phones are not allowed during school hours. Smartwatches must be put on "school mode" or programmed to not have extra features accessible during the school day. Per school policy and the student handbook "Personal electronic devices are not to be used on the school campus during the school day unless authorized use is granted by the classroom teacher or administrator." Further, if a student is using a personal device at school, the device will be confiscated and the parent/guardian can pick it up in the office after school. If you need to contact your student, please call the office and we will relay a message or transfer the call to the appropriate classroom. Thank you for your continued support.
Because of the ski trip on Friday, there will not be any middle school staff at the school. If your student does NOT plan to attend the ski trip, they do NOT need to attend school on Friday, Feb. 7th.
