Deer Park School wishes to honor the incredible legacy of Tribal Chief Earl Old Person of the Blackfeet Nation. He passed away at the age of 92 this week, and his passion for all Native Americans' culture and traditions will live on! He served the Blackfeet Nation for over 40 years, traveling the world in his quest to honor the American Indian.
Don't forget that tonight is the Open House!
It is from 4:30-6:30 PM! Rotating schedules are posted all over the grounds, so that everyone can tell when different teachers are presenting. Specials' teachers will either be floating around or in their classroom (music, etc.)
Food will be served in the gym, beginning at 5 pm. Also, K and under aged students may go to the Kindergarten classroom for childcare (except infants).

Practices will begin on Monday, October 18, times and more dates TBD.
Good Morning. It is time to get those lunch order forms in. This will be for the weeks 10/18 - 10/29. There is no School on October 21st and 22nd. These forms are due by the end of the week.
Student Council speeches were an exciting end of the day and the week assembly. Primary students joined in, some Kindergarteners snuggling with our beloved Librarian, Mrs. Watts.
Attention boys basketball players and families: The season will be starting up in a couple of weeks. 7th and 8th grade players are required to have a current physical on file before they can practice. Schedules will be posted soon.
Picture Day is tomorrow afternoon!
