Santa's Secret Store is coming to town, on Tuesday, December 14, and Wednesday, December 15, in the library! The Booster Club is also looking for pre-wrapped boxes and gift bags. Any donations would be gladly accepted. Please see the attachment for more information!
Apologies for the short notice—Deer Park School and Crash Zone will be closed this Thursday, December 9th so staff and families can attend the funeral service for Jeff Watts and Lowell Smith. The service will be at Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls at 11:00 a.m. All are welcome.

Hello Deer Park families! We are quickly approaching our first music concert of the year! On Wednesday, December 15th from 4:30pm-5:30pm is the “Winter Wonderland” Concert. Call time for all students is 4:00pm, and the dress code is ALL BLACK (dresses and dark blue clothing is accepted as well). Students are graded on attending the concert, and it is worth a large portion of their semester grade. So please be sure to contact me if your student has to miss the concert, or if you have any additional questions. Have an amazing week!

Hello Deer Park Families! Lunch forms are ready to be filled out. WooHoo! There will be no Hot lunch on December 20,21, & 22. Lunch will need to be brought from home on these days. There will be a Pizza fundraiser on Tuesday December 21 if you wish to participate in that. More info will be sent home as the day nears.

This morning, our Deer Park family experienced a great loss. A terrible accident occured and there was a house fire at the home of Jeff and Miriam Watts. Tragically Jeff, and Miriam’s father were trapped inside. This is devastating to all of us as Jeff was a beloved member of our staff. We are sending this notice out to you to give yourselves and your children a chance to process this news before school tomorrow. We are attempting to make it as normal as possible, but we realize that there will be some pivots in the day as needed. To help minimize some of these pivots, we will have counselors available for anyone who may need to talk. We encourage you to focus on how we can help our students and support Miriam.Thank you for being such a close community as we are all grieving and working through this together.
