Hello Deer Park Families. This is just a reminder that smartwatches and cell phones are not allowed during school hours. Smartwatches must be put on "school mode" or programmed to not have extra features accessible during the school day. Per school policy and the student handbook "Personal electronic devices are not to be used on the school campus during the school day unless authorized use is granted by the classroom teacher or administrator." Further, if a student is using a personal device at school, the device will be confiscated and the parent/guardian can pick it up in the office after school. If you need to contact your student, please call the office and we will relay a message or transfer the call to the appropriate classroom. Thank you for your continued support.
Because of the ski trip on Friday, there will not be any middle school staff at the school. If your student does NOT plan to attend the ski trip, they do NOT need to attend school on Friday, Feb. 7th.

Thank you to Mr. Rague's drama class for entertaining us with such a fun and well done production! And thank you to Miss Sam's art classes for such amazing backdrops! Cast and crew and everyone involved did a fantastic job! We're so proud to be able to do these types of activities at Deer Park. Mostly, a huge thank you to all the families that allow their students to participate in our fundraising bake sales which helped provide costumes and props!

Here are the games schedules for this week! 5/6 will be playing @ Creston tonight at 4:00pm, and @ Cayuse Prarie at 4:00pm on Thursday 1/30. The 7/8 will be playing @ Cayuse Prairie tonight at 5:00pm, @ Whitefish Middle School on Tuesday 1/28 at 5:00pm, and @ Cayuse Prarie again on Thursday 1/30 at 5:00pm. Finally, the 7/8 will be playing in a one day tournament at West Valley on Saturday 1/1. A very busy week, but have fun ladies and play hard!

The 7/8 Jamboree is taking place on Saturday NOT Thursday. Apologies for any confusion. The Jamboree will be taking place at Somers Middle School this SATURDAY 1/25/25. The girls play at 9:00am and 2:00pm.
New Building Proposal Open House TONIGHT! Come to Deer Park tonight between 5:00-7:00 p.m. to see our plans and proposal for a building to replace the old Quonset and office building. It will be casual and a good time to ask questions and participate in the process. This is an Open House style event with light refreshments and will be held in the gym. We hope to see you there!

There are two girls basketball games, and a jamboree at Somers happening this week. The first game is on Tuesday @ Helena Flats. The next is a home game on Thursday against Marion. The jamboree is on Thursday for 7/8 girls only. They play at 9:00am and 2:00pm @ Somers Middle School. Good luck ladies!
